Role and Responsibilities
The Tealeaf Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all Client's web sites. They will partner with internal teams to evangelize Tealeaf and drive adoption as well as build a strong partnership with business partners. They will need to define the architectural vision to continue to expand Tealeaf across the BBBY Enterprise and apply and document Tealeaf architectural standards and best practices. They will also provide engineering support to build and maintain a healthy Tealeaf environment
Daily Responsibility:
Create
events
to track business processes and user interactivity.
Develop, configure and customize Tealeaf scorecards, dashboards and custom charts.
Integrate Tealeaf data with Google Analytics and Omniture
Develop metrics and generate reports to demonstrate performance of the various application components, showing trends and utilization levels
Provide analytical support to the business team, call center operations, web ops team and other key stakeholders that drive the online experience throughout the organization.
Conduct root cause analysis of web issues and recommend fixes to technical teams.
Create and maintain web analytics report and communicate best practices across the analytics organization.
Install, patch and upgrade Tealeaf CX platform and supporting applications as needed.
Diagnose Tealeaf issues and implement changes recommended by Tealeaf support.
Responsible for basic server metric reporting and web analytics, capacity planning,
Responsible for building new Windows/RedHat servers and technical writing.
Quality assures the latest security hotfixes
Handle support requests from customer service associates.
Work closely with development staff on a daily basis and should be personable, courteous and truthful
Technologies used:
Akamai, ATG Commerce, Microsoft Windows 2003/8, IIS 6/7, Oracle 10G on Sun, Endeca, RedHat, R1 replication, VMware, TeaLeaf and F5 load balancing and caching.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
5-7 year experience
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of web development helpful in order to diagnose and communicate problems to development staff. Knowledge of F5 load balancers and SEO a plus
