Business Intelligence Developer Position in Morristown, NJ

Qualifications:
Technical leadership skills in: (Oracle pl/sql, Oracle Forms, XML/BI Publisher, Oracle Report, SQLPlus)
BA/BS degree with an analytical discipline or 5
years of experience directly related to professional software development.
Experience in Oracle BI, OBIEE, Enterprise Edition, OLAP and Dashboard Reports.
Strong analytical ability to perform full range of system design and programming responsibilities utilizing state of the art concepts, techniques and languages. Knowledge of current information concerning programming, operating systems, hardware functions and hardware capabilities. Also, Knowledge of systems analysis/design, computer programming and job control languages.
Ability to write reports and other varied business correspondence and present information effectively both written and oral. Also, ability to define problem, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology.
Knowledge of business management concepts, techniques and functions and project management techniques and ability to lead small to medium sized projects. Also having the ability to accurately estimate project requirements into development hours.
Responsibilities:
Develop and design functional and technical requirements for BI projects
Research solutions to meet short and long term goals of the business and individual departments, and understand and communicate the functionality and limitations of existing business intelligence software
Research current industry trends and inform department managers of best practices & processes, emerging technologies and applications of interest
Solve complex problems by conferring with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Maintain additional software that interfaces with main business applications as assigned
Will be responsible for delivering and maintaining frameworks, tools and standards to enable consistency in the environment, re-use and time to market of business functions and analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Directly influence multiple teams within IT including Product Management, Project Management & Quality Assurance.
