Skills and Requirements:
Bachelors degree and/or College Equivalent (Preferred Engineering, Comp-Sci, or Business degrees)
Oracle Database OCA, OCP, and/or OCM Certification
A minimum 5 years consulting experience or 5 -- 10
years experience in Oracle DB and Middleware design, deployment, and tuning
Deep understanding of Oracle DB, Fusion Middleware and BI (11g) architecture, configuration, data model design, data storage, data analytics, data warehousing and operational data stores supporting application.
Hands-on expertise with Oracle Solution stack (Oracle 11g, WebLogic, OBIEE, Data Integrator)
Understanding of Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology High degree of interpersonal skills; proven ability to work well in team settings
Systems and Storage Linux, Unix, ZFS
Database: Oracle, Oracle Clusterware, backup, data recovery, data replication, storage array types, CPUs, memory segments, partitions
Middleware: WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle BI Enterprise Edition, Data Integrator.
Application Development (optional): Java, C/C++, .NET, HTML, Java EE
Responsibilities:
Designing the technical architecture for a data warehouse implementation, taking into account performance, scalability, recovery/redundancy/availability, and security. Stack includes Oracle 11G Enterprise Edition on an Oracle Database Appliance, Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle ZFS Storage.
Designing storage configuration and allocation, documenting near term architecture to align with existing and in-flight requirements and designs.
Creating and documenting long term target architecture to support a comprehensive solution including the Operations Architecture and create and document database, architecture, and application standards.
