OverviewAtlantic Medical Group Operations is currently seeking an Internal Coding Auditor. HS Diploma, CPC, and ICD10CM certifed required. Prior coding experience preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement essential. Completion of continuing education credits required to relevant licenses and certifications. Selected candidate will perform audits (coding, billing, compliance) to detect any deviation from federal and state guidelines and make recommendations to remedy any such deviations. Perform internal audits of various AHS departments and provide coding and billing assistance and conduct financial audits of AHS subsidiaries not included with external audits. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
