PD Nursing Assistant
OverviewMorristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per-Diem Nursing Assistant to work primarily 3-11P every other weekend.Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
Certifications:
BLS Preferred
CNA with clinical experience preferred

Acute Care, long term care, or rehab experience as a Nursing Assistant Required
